Chief Medical Officer
About Abby Care
Aby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care. America faces a growing care crisis, with millions needing care at home but lacking the tools, training, or recognition they deserve. Abby Care believes that families are the largest untapped caregiving workforce and that technology can help them deliver better care.
The Opportunity
The opportunity lies in building the clinical narrative around family caregiving as a model. Currently, there is fragmented evidence supporting the effectiveness of family caregivers. Our goal over the next 24 months is to gather and publish this evidence, differentiate ourselves, and establish Abby Care as a trusted provider in the care continuum.
Why This Role
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will be the clinical voice of Abby Care externally, shaping the narrative and perception of the family caregiving model. They will advise the CEO and executive team on clinical strategy, care model evolution, and external positioning. This role requires significant clinical credibility and a strong external presence.
What You'll Work On

- Serve as the external clinical face of Abby Care with payors, health systems, state regulators, and industry bodies
- Own the evidence strategy: partner with analytics and clinical operations to design the outcomes program, then publish results through whitepapers, peer-reviewed work, and industry venues
- Represent Abby Care at conferences, roundtables, and advisory forums; build the speaking, media, and thought leadership platform
What You'll Have
- A physician (MD/DO) with active or recent clinical practice and board certification in a relevant specialty

- Ability to translate clinical outcomes into commercial wins
- Strong external presence: published work, conference speaking, payor relationships, media comfort
- Comfort with ambiguity and category creation
- Ability to work closely with commercial, operations, product, and data teams
