About the Role
At The Ward Law Group, we represent immigrant families and underserved communities with excellence, compassion, and faith-rooted service. We are scaling from $100M to $250M+, and we need a transformational Chief Marketing Officer to drive brand expansion, client acquisition, and market presence across Florida, New York, and Texas.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a national marketing strategy to scale revenue and reputation across markets.
- Align all initiatives with firm values: service, leadership, loyalty, and faith.
- Oversee a team of 15–25+ (social, digital, paid, traditional, creative, content).
- Hire, mentor, and retain top-tier marketing talent. Create pathways for internal growth.
- Own all marketing touchpoints: paid media, social, SEO, PR, TV/radio, influencer, community outreach.
- Ensure strategy reaches and resonates with Hispanic and immigrant audiences.
- Build a powerful brand that evokes trust, purpose, and transformation.
- Tell the firm’s story through emotionally resonant client journeys and community engagement.
- Implement KPIs for all campaigns. Track CAC, CPL, cost per signed case, ROI.
- Integrate dashboards and reporting to guide weekly/monthly strategy shifts.
- Leverage CRM (Salesforce), CallRail, Google Analytics, and AI-powered tools to streamline processes and scale results.
- Work closely with Intake, Legal Ops, and Sales to ensure end-to-end client journey is cohesive and high-converting.
- Localize campaigns across Miami, Orlando, NYC, and Texas.
- Navigate compliance nuances for legal marketing (Bar rules) in each state.
- Manage marketing budgets of $10M+ annually. Negotiate vendor and media contracts.
- Ensure cost-effective campaign execution and vendor accountability.
- Serve as part of the Executive Leadership Team.
- Translate marketing metrics into business outcomes to influence firmwide decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years in senior marketing leadership roles (CMO, VP, SVP).
- Experience managing teams of 20+ with 7+ direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience with modern marketing stack: Salesforce, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, SEMrush, CallRail, etc.
- Willingness to work on-site in Miami Lakes, FL and travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven Growth & Revenue Leadership:
- Successfully scaled marketing in a company growing from $50M to $250M+.
- Managed $10M+ annual marketing budgets with strong, measurable ROI.
- Experience driving 30%+ year-over-year growth.
- Built and scaled both B2C and B2B acquisition strategies, ideally in regulated or professional services industries.
- Full-Funnel & Multi-Channel Expertise:
- Deep expertise across digital (SEO, Google Ads, Meta, social, video), traditional (TV, radio, billboards), PR, influencer, and brand partnerships.
- Proven ability to combine performance marketing (CPL/CPA) with brand storytelling to drive both lead volume and trust.
- Experience managing multi-state and multi-office campaigns, including bilingual markets.
- Strategic Vision & Execution:
- Built and scaled national brands.
- Developed repeatable marketing systems (“flywheels”) that compound growth.
- Led marketing transformation initiatives, including CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation, and AI-driven tools.
- Operational Excellence:
- Built and led high-performing in-house teams (15+ marketers).
- Established KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Strong experience in budget planning, vendor management, media buying, and ROI optimization.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- 10+ years in senior marketing leadership (CMO, VP, SVP).
- Managed 7+ direct reports and 20–30+ person teams across marketing and sales functions.
- Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing strong talent.
- Built accountable, high-performance teams.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Expert in translating data into actionable growth strategies.
- Strong experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics, CallRail, and attribution modeling.
- Ability to clearly communicate what’s working, what’s not, and how to optimize.
- Hands-On, Builder Mentality:
- Comfortable executing, not just leading strategy.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Willing to dive into campaign gaps, funnel performance, creative, and channel optimization.
- Works cross-functionally with intake, sales, and operations to improve the full client journey.
- Regulated Industry Experience:
- Experience in legal, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of compliance constraints, reputation management, and high-trust customer acquisition.
- Executive Presence & Communication:
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to C-level leadership, boards, and external stakeholders.
- Able to translate marketing into business outcomes: revenue growth, CAC/CPL, ROI, and retention.
Skills
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Experience marketing to Hispanic and multicultural audiences.
- Background in multi-location or multi-state expansion.
