About the role
HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, Florida, is seeking a full time Hospitalist Chief to lead our expanding team of elite physicians at a Level II Trauma Center dedicated to unparalleled patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Must be board certified in Internal Medicine
- Florida License and DEA Required
- Practice and leadership experience required
- Preferred experience with Meditech EMR
Responsibilities
- Mix of clinical and administrative duties
- On-site 7am-7am, nightly call coverage and weekends, nights 7 on 7 off 12 hour shifts
- GME coverage for Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Daily census about 25 per provider / About 30 daily admissions
- Hospitalist will manage ICU patients
- Hospitalists do NOT run codes
