Internal Medicine Chief Hospitalist

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, Florida, is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Chief to lead an expanding team of elite physicians.

Responsibilities

• Mix of clinical and administrative duties
• On-site 7am-7am, nightly call coverage, and weekends (7 on / 7 off, 12-hour shifts)
• GME coverage for Internal Medicine Residency Program
• Daily census of approximately 25 per provider with about 30 daily admissions
• Manage ICU patients (hospitalists do NOT run codes)

Requirements

• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Florida medical license and DEA required
• Practice and leadership experience required
• Preferred experience with Meditech EMR
