Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Shared Services Director

Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planning
    • Advise executive leadership on profitability, growth, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives
    • Evaluate acquisitions, investments, and business performance metrics
    • Present financial insights and recommendations to ownership and leadership teams
  • Accounting, Reporting & Compliance
    • Oversee consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, audits, tax coordination, and regulatory compliance
    • Maintain strong internal controls, governance, and risk management practices
    • Drive financial systems improvements and reporting efficiencies
  • Shared Services Leadership
    • Provide strategic oversight for:
      • Human Resources, including talent strategy, succession planning, compensation, and employee engagement
      • Information Technology, including ERP optimization, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and scalability initiatives
      • Risk Management & Safety, including insurance, compliance, and enterprise risk mitigation
      • Tax strategy, compliance, and coordination with external advisors

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
    • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
    • Experience in multi-entity or operationally complex environments preferred
    • Strong expertise in financial reporting, planning, treasury, tax, and risk management
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational growth
    • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
