About the role
Century Group is partnering with a client seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead their finance and accounting function, provide strategic financial guidance, and support business growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall finance and accounting function, including financial planning, reporting, treasury management, compliance, and internal controls.
- Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership regarding profitability, business growth, investment decisions, and financial risk management.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling to support organizational objectives.
- Manage banking relationships, financing activities, cash flow strategies, and capital allocation initiatives.
- Lead and develop finance teams while supporting business expansion, operational efficiency, and strategic growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Active United States CPA designation.
- Chartered Accountant designation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including significant executive-level responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, treasury operations, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and corporate governance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, retail, e-commerce, or similar industries.
- Proven ability to support organizational growth, acquisitions, business transformation initiatives, or complex strategic projects.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Prior experience with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and enterprise-wide financial reporting platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills; Hindi language proficiency is preferred.
Pay
Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, with exact compensation varying based on skills, experience, and location.
