Regency Hospital Springdale is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery.

About the role

The CEO will provide hands-on leadership, strategic direction, and operations management with a focus on business development, exceptional quality patient care, and fiscal accountability. This role is an excellent opportunity to manage hospital operations in a critical care environment, analyzing complex situations and executing decisions effectively.

The CEO will serve as vice-chair of the Governing Board if there is not a market CEO, perform daily rounds on the nursing floor, communicate with patients, families, and staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. The role includes ownership of the Complaint-Grievance Process, ensuring overall compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations, and focusing on employee engagement.

The CEO will personally create, cultivate, and own a Top 10 Key Business Development Relationship list, implement the Corporate Case Management and PPS Model, and prepare an Annual Operating Budget, a 3-year Capital Budget, and a Strategic Plan for Governing Board approval.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership and strategic direction for hospital operations.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (required).
  • Three (3) years of leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Experience with management functions of finance, strategic planning, and community education of health programs.
  • Three (3) years of operations experience in an acute care or specialty hospital setting.
  • High personal integrity, positivity, and ability to operate effectively under pressure.
  • Passion for providing superior quality and inventive problem-solving skills.
