Chief Engineer

About the role

As Chief Engineer, you’ll lead the maintenance and engineering operations of the property, ensuring all building systems, equipment, and facilities operate safely and efficiently. You’ll manage a team, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety and brand standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a commitment to maintaining a well-functioning, guest-ready environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance staff
• Oversee repairs and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes
• Report to the General Manager

Qualifications

• College degree or two years of hotel experience
• Previous experience in this exact position
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• Combination of education and experience

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
