Chief Development Officer

Responsibilities

• Deconstruct and redesign the design and construction processes to reduce cost and time
• Lead large-scale build-to exercises to identify optimal product delivery at set budgets
• Establish and maintain partnerships with construction firms, ensuring adherence to standards
• Oversee the real estate pipeline from sourcing to deal negotiation and management
• Innovate deal structures to succeed in a challenging market environment
• Enhance teamwork across Real Estate, Design, and Construction for cohesive operations
• Serve as a key executive member, facilitating clarity in complex decisions

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in construction and design with commercial real estate fluency
• Track record of scaling physical development or real estate platforms at the executive level
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across different locations
• Strong financial acumen with an understanding of unit economics and EBITDA
• Experience working in senior leadership teams to shape company-wide strategy
• Clear, directive leadership style invested in team development

$300,000 – $330,000 annually
