About the Role
HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking an experienced CRNA leader to serve as Chief CRNA, overseeing a team of 18 CRNAs within a well-established anesthesia care team model. The Chief CRNA works collaboratively with facility anesthesia leadership and operations teams while maintaining a clinical presence and providing strategic oversight for staffing, quality initiatives, recruitment, and professional development.
Anesthesia Care Team Model: 12 MDs and 18 CRNAs. Diverse case mix includes general, orthopedics, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB, and GI/Endoscopy. CRNAs perform A-lines, central lines, float SWANZ in cardiac rooms, peripheral nerve blocks, epidurals, and spinals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clinical presence while providing strategic oversight for staffing, quality initiatives, recruitment, and professional development.
- Collaborate with facility anesthesia leadership and operations teams.
- Minimal weekend call requirement of 1 shift per month (7a-5p and 8a-4p, Saturday and Sunday).
- Chief expected onsite 3-4 days per week.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the AANA/NBCRNA.
- 3+ years of autonomous working experience.
- Active licensure with current ACLS and BLS certification.
