About the role

The Chief Bridge Engineer oversees the design, construction, and maintenance of all bridge projects within the company. This includes ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire bridge engineering process from conception to completion
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
• Ensure all bridge designs adhere to safety and environmental regulations
• Manage a team of bridge engineers and technicians
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of existing bridges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of professional bridge engineering experience
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams
• Knowledge of bridge engineering principles and practices
• Experience with bridge inspection and assessment tools

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for public infrastructure and safety
