Requirements

• Oversee stories touching on the biggest themes in business, politics, finance and the economy, driving breaking news and scoops, and leading enterprise reporting for audiences around the world.
• Drive ambitious reporting on the companies, industries, policymakers and economic trends shaping Chicago and the Midwest.
• Deliver exclusive and agenda-setting journalism across business, politics and the economy.
• Collaborate closely with Bloomberg teams around the US and the world.
• Mentor and develop reporters.
• Build relationships with key newsmakers and sources throughout the region.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading journalists and newsroom teams.
• Exceptional news judgment and editing skills.
• A proven record of delivering exclusive and impactful journalism.
• A deep interest in business, politics and economic policy.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom.

Benefits

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $205,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
