Responsibilities
- Filing reports of clients and market
- Exploring the local market and maintaining sound business relationships with corporate clients and commercial mortgage loans (CM) as needed
- Supporting a portfolio of syndicated loans
- Conducting post-loan management to ensure all loan activities comply with the Bank's policies and procedures, including KYC
- Credit Analysis: CRE proficiency in spreadsheet analysis, rent rolls, ratio calculation and analysis, cash flow projection & analysis. Skills of sensitivity test and scenario analysis; C&I proficiency in spreadsheet analysis, ratio calculation and analysis, cash flow projection & analysis. - Identifying credit risks and deriving ways to mitigate them
- Due Diligence Review: Analyzes real estate and corporate financial status, credit, and performs in-depth due diligence and compliance analysis; Reflects the credit requests of the customer & Corporate Banking Department’s recommendations accurately; Writes up Credit Recommendation report (CRR); Writes up Exception Request; Writes up research reports; Writes other assigned reports or presentations;
- Compliance and Operations Review: Reviews and monitors transaction activities to ensure compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures; Addresses and follows up on compliance issues and refers escalated and/or complex issues to higher levels; Attends BSA, AML and KYC seminars and training; Performs Policies and Procedures Review on a semi-annual basis to look for further enhancements to the policy; Understands, complies with, and monitors the activities, if necessary, of all applicable laws and regulations regarding anti-money laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, Act, currency transaction reporting, and suspicious activity reporting;
- Market Research: Researches and gathers market details and intelligence to assist Account Officers; Performs market analysis and due diligence to support and reduce potential risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and other related disciplines is required; a master degree or above is preferred;
- 1-3 years of work experience in commercial real estate underwriting and/or corporate underwriting and/or lending in the banking industry;
- Ability to spread financial statements, calculate and analyze related financial ratios;
- Ability to multitask, adapt well to changing priorities, and effectively prioritize workflow to meet critical deadlines;
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Knowledge of Sino-US Trade and economic updates in China.
Pay
Pay Range: Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications. USD $42,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
