Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional service needs and estimated repair time
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform quality inspections to ensure work meets dealership standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience required
- GM / Chevrolet certification preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Personal tools required
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude toward customers and coworkers
- Willingness to continue learning and growing in your career
