About the Role

We are seeking an A or B Level Technician with PA inspection and emission licenses. GM experience is preferred, as well as transmission and diesel experience. This role functions as a skilled-level technician who performs diagnoses and repairs across all areas, with specialization in particular repair domains, and has prior experience as an A or B-Class general service technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses the cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicates with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if outlined work is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications
• Manufacturer training

• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening

Pay

Competitive pay plan with up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, no Sundays.
