Responsibilities
- Detect and diagnose vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
- Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Follow all safety policies and manufacturer procedures
- Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- Able to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or certification in automotive technology
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
