Chemline Technician I (1st Shift)

About the role

UCT is a rapidly growing sector in the tech industry, directly impacting every smartphone, smart car, and AI-enabled device. As a Technician I, you'll play a crucial role in the Advanced Technology Cleaning Centers (ATCC)®, ensuring that our customers' tools are clean and ready for production.

Responsibilities

• Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality processes.
• Complete training on assigned processes.
• Organize and maintain assigned process areas.
• Attend safety meetings and training programs.
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely and follow all policies.
• Report on task goals and continuously improve skills.
• Maintain a high level of safety and environmental awareness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or related field.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing processes or materials.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies.
• Experience in media blast and quality assurance.
• Previous experience in the parts cleaning industry.
• High-Tech or Semiconductor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and manage time effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE and work in a cleanroom environment.
• Exceptional organizational and safety awareness.

Skills

• Handling hazardous chemicals safely.
• Following SOPs and Lean manufacturing processes.
• Reporting task goals and continuous skill advancement.
• Understanding and applying SPC measurements.

Pay

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $17.26 and $25.87/hour; however, base pay offered may vary based on individual performance, Company or department performance, and market factors. The total compensation package includes additional elements such as variable pay and discretionary awards.

Schedule

The position requires a flexible work schedule, including some weekend and evening work. Employees must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and work in a cleanroom environment.
