We are looking for a talented Technician IV to perform advanced cleaning, processing, and inspection activities in our Phoenix, AZ facility. This role supports laboratory and cleanroom operations with minimal supervision, executing complex chemical cleaning, preparing tank chemistries, verifying documentation, and approving test data and travelers to ensure quality compliance. The Technician IV leads assigned cleaning lines, supports R&D and first-article processing, identifies quality or process deviations, and maintains safe handling of hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cleaning, packing, and maintenance activities, including extensive chemical cleaning and stripping.
• Delegate and assign work activities; sign off on Certificate of Analysis, test data, and approve travelers.
• Execute receiving, processing, wiping, scrubbing, masking, chemical processing, machine operating, etching, blasting, coating, drying, baking, and other related processes as needed.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts.
• Work independently and perform all processes related to the assigned product line.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and safety programs; complete required training courses.
• Identify departures from the quality system.
• Act as a “Lead” technician for assigned cleaning line(s).
• Support R&D group for specialized cleaning activities and first-article product cleaning.
• Ensure safe use and disposition of hazardous chemicals for cleaning.
• Contribute to process improvement activities.
• On occasion, deliver parts to customers using a company delivery vehicle.
• Learn and understand a variety of tank chemistries; follow chemical recipes to prepare chemistry tanks.
• Maintain a high degree of safety and environmental awareness through safe work habits and 6S practices.
• Take SPC measurements and log data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
• Substantial understanding of all cleanroom processes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to obtain respirator certification before employment.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate; knowledge of MS Word and Excel is preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Handle hazardous chemicals safely.
