Chemistry Adjunct

Responsibilities

Provide traditional delivery instruction on either the Chester or Midlothian campus of the college. Courses offered in the discipline include General Chemistry I & II, Introductory Chemistry, Survey of Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.

Special Assignments

• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Qualifications

Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in the specific discipline.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Additional Considerations

• Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
• Ability to use instructional technologies.
