Adjunct- Chemistry
Description
St. Bonaventure University (SBU) is seeking faculty for the Chemistry Department to teach undergraduate curriculum. This is an adjunct part-time position, starting in the Spring of 2025. The main focus of the position will be to teach an organic chemistry laboratory course (CHML 302: Organic Chemistry II Laboratory).

Key Responsibilities
- Teaching, including the preparation of course syllabi and classes
- Holding office hours (in-person and/or virtual)
- The preparation and grading of examinations
- The supervision of laboratories and other practica
- Additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair
Typical Qualifications
- M.S. (or equivalent progress in a current Ph.D. program) in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Evidence of successful teaching and/or TA experience
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
Compensation
$4,000 per course instructed, paid on a bi-weekly basis
