Chemical Operator

JOB SUMMARY

A Chemical Operator is responsible for safely loading and monitoring chemical reactions according to SOPs while ensuring precision in processing. They conduct essential equipment maintenance, package urethane batches as required, and complete assignments following industrial manufacturing principles. Accurate system data recording is a key part of their role, supporting efficiency and compliance. Additionally, they perform physical tasks in a safe and effective manner, contributing to a well-regulated production environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and monitor chemical reactions per SOP.
• Perform necessary maintenance on associated equipment.
• Packurethane batches as required per SOP.
• Complete job assignments per Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Accurately record system data as required per Lean standards.
• Physically able to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Previous experience in Lean manufacturing environment.
• Ability to multi-task with emphasis on Safety and Quality.
• Computer skills in Microsoft programs Excel and Word.
• Passing score on a CRC exam.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with vacuum systems will be viewed as a plus.
• Some college education preferred.
• Experience with loading and monitoring of chemical reactions requiring accurate additions to meet product specifications preferred.
• Computer skills in Microsoft programs Excel and Word.
