About the role

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Chemical Cleaning Supervisor to join a safety-conscious team at various customer locations. This role involves supervising industrial tank cleaning operations while adhering to site-specific safety guidelines and protocols. The supervisor oversees two or more crews, ensuring operational efficiency, proper equipment use, and timely, accurate documentation. The position also focuses on maintaining compliance with company policies, improving customer relations, and representing HPC-Industrial in client interactions.

$5,000 sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, provide feedback, and direct crews to complete work in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
• Enforce company employee policies; remove employees from job sites when necessary.
• Schedule jobs and crews; dispatch crews based on after-hours calls.
• Act as Operations Manager or Branch Manager when requested.
• Review work orders to ensure all required equipment is available and operational before starting a job.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to correct deficiencies that could cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
• Inform clients regarding job status and requirements.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including service receipts, and submit to management.
• Train Technicians and Operators on equipment operation, service processes, and required documentation.
• Operate equipment (chemical, hydro-blasting, painting, blasting, vacuum) in accordance with safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the industrial cleaning industry.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• RCRA certificates required.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in people management.
• Strong knowledge of operating equipment used in the service line.
• Ability to comprehend English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel; Microsoft Access is a plus.
• Experience with Win Web (HPC Software).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and current certification as an authorized company driver.
• Travel within region 50% of the time; job walks required.
• TWIC card preferred.

Pay

Competitive wages ranging from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
