About the role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Catering Chef is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and culinary experiences.
Responsibilities
- Train and manage kitchen staff
- Supervise culinary activities
- Estimate food needs and purchase supplies
- Develop and standardize recipes
- Set presentation and quality standards
- Plan menus and ensure safety and sanitation protocols
- Oversee catering events
- Provide culinary demonstrations
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Post-high school education or equivalent
- Culinary degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of food principles and management skills
- Excellent communication skills
