Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality catering menus for events of varying sizes
• Coordinate food production timelines to ensure on-time, flawless event delivery
• Oversee food presentation, plating, and quality control for all catered events
• Manage kitchen prep, mise en place, and catering logistics
• Collaborate with front-of-house and event staff to ensure seamless service
• Monitor food costs, portion control, and minimize waste
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Catering Chef, Banquet Chef, or similar culinary role
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and contemporary cooking techniques
• Ability to manage high-volume food production in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Valid Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe certification preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate kitchen staff
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
