About the role

This position involves pallet removal from trailers using a forklift, break down and stacking of cases, verifying correct product, date, and quantity, and frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Remove pallets from trailers using a forklift
• Break down and stack cases
• Verify correct product, date, and quantity
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 90 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching are involved
• Work in a cooler/freezer warehouse with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 32°F

Requirements

• At least 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years
• Cold storage experience preferred
• Willingness to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs cases and occasionally up to 110 lbs cases
• Willingness to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb
• Willingness and ability to stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years
• Cold storage experience preferred
• Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs cases and occasionally up to 110 lbs cases
• Must be willing to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb
• Must be willing and able to stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment with temperature range from -10°F to 30°F
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Schedule

• B shift: Shift availability is determined by the business need at the time of offer
• Wednesday: 6pm-12am
• Sunday/Monday/Tuesday: 6pm to 6am
