About the Role

Responsible for supporting daily warehouse and delivery operations through independent contractor check-in activities, inventory control, and operational coordination. Working closely with Independent Contractors and warehouse leadership, this position assists with route documentation, delivery compliance, inventory accuracy, load-out support, returns processing, and day-to-day warehouse operations to help ensure efficient service execution and adherence to company procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support daily check-in and check-out activities for Independent Contractors, including reviewing route documentation, delivery tickets, inventory logs, and related paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit delivery documentation to ensure required signatures, service codes, completion details, delivery exceptions, and other operational requirements are properly recorded.
  • Assist with daily load-out and route support activities to help ensure timely and accurate delivery execution.
  • Verify inventory transactions, including haul-away appliances, returns, and other product movements, to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Process, tag, organize, and store returned merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to delivery documentation, returns, inventory counts, and contractor paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control processes as directed by warehouse leadership.
  • Support warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety initiatives to maintain an efficient work environment.
  • Follow and support established security procedures to safeguard company assets and inventory.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership and Independent Contractors to support daily operational priorities and customer service objectives.
  • Assist with general warehouse and administrative activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience working in warehouse or inventory control positions required.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and consistently meet order fulfillment requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility and patience.
  • Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and with a strong sense of self-motivation.
  • Ability to sufficiently read, speak, and write English in order to understand and give directions, and to complete paperwork accurately.
  • Ability to operate a variety of warehouse equipment as dictated by the duties of the job and perform data entry and typing functions.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
  • May be exposed to varying weather elements.
  • Frequently bends, stoops, and stands for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally requires lifting and stacking of items up to thirty (30) pounds above head, and lifting and stacking items up to sixty-five (65) pounds to chest height and carrying them a distance up to fifty (50) feet.
  • Occasionally requires lifting items weighing up to one hundred pounds (100) to a height of ten (10) inches.
  • May require climbing ladders, stair ramps.
  • Requires the use of clear speech communicated to others and understanding the speech of another person.
  • Requires the ability to see details of objects within close range.
