About the role

The Part Time Charter Planning Specialist assists with planning and implementing strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives and in compliance with FAA and TSA regulations. Working with the Manager of Charter Planning, this role helps establish Breeze as a leader in commercial airline charter by communicating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service for charter clients. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong decision-making, a data-driven mindset, and a commitment to Breeze’s values while excelling in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure a successful charter program.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with external stakeholders (business partners, clients) to understand their operational charter needs.
  • Assist with Charter Planning invoice reconciliation.
  • Support cost savings initiatives as directed by the Manager of Charter Planning.
  • Manage key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with operational groups to ensure the charter program meets both customer operational goals and airline business objectives.
  • Use processes and workflows to continually enhance charter planning procedures and service levels.
  • Work with Safety and Security to ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to Breeze Aviation Group Values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Charter Planning.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of commercial airline charter experience.
  • 1+ year of airline charter experience.
  • Familiarity with FAA and TSA regulations.
  • High performance orientation with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong desire for success.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision and adapt to varied hours when necessary.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years in commercial airline charter operations or similar relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating standard office equipment.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within an office environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, requiring adequate speech, hearing, and vision.
