Charter Operations Representative
Location: Teterboro, NJ (onsite). Candidates will be prioritized by proximity to Jet Aviation hubs in Teterboro, NJ; Bedford, MA; Chicago, IL; Scottsdale, AZ; West Palm Beach, FL; or Bozeman, MT.
About the role
The Charter Operations Representative proactively develops and maintains a client base to expand charter sales activities. This role provides clients with accurate and timely information while multi-tasking in a team environment with minimal supervision. A flexible schedule, including weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday), is required. The position follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with afternoon/evening hours. Initial training and onboarding will take place during standard business hours.
Pay
$28.85–$36.06 hourly, equivalent to $60,000–$75,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Supports sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training, and financing.
- Handles responsibilities within Sales Support and Administration as a generalist or across multiple disciplines.
- Answers inbound customer calls regarding product and service information, identifying upselling opportunities.
- Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records, and completes required documentation.
- Identifies and qualifies prospective customers, recording sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems.
- May manage an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories.
- May have an individual or team sales quota with target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunities.
- Represents Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a scheduling or operations role.
- Proficiency in charter scheduling or FBO (Fixed Base Operation) scheduling.
- Demonstrated determination and resilience in handling challenging situations and unexpected changes in the fast-paced aviation industry.
- Strong multitasking skills to handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if required).
- Minimum of a high school or trade school diploma.
