Charge RN - Weekend - Main OR

Position Overview: The Charge Nurse oversees safe and efficient patient care, supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring proper documentation and inventory management. They assist with bed assignments, address department issues, and maintain compliance with hospital policies. Qualifications: Requires a nursing degree (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN) and a current RN license. Must meet state licensing requirements. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and various physical movements. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and others may be required based on the unit. Certification must be obtained within specified timeframes if not already held. Key Responsibilities: Supervise nursing activities, delegate responsibilities, maintain clinical records, assist with staff performance reports, manage inventory, and support problem-solving within the department.
