About the role
The Charge Nurse works under the supervision of the Director and Clinical Manager, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Direct nursing service activities in the department
- Delegate responsibilities to auxiliary and staff nurses
- Supervise preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records
- Assist with related duties as needed
