About the role
Provides clinical nursing care for patients across all age groups, coordinating quality care and addressing operational issues during shifts.
Responsibilities
- Communicates patient status, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.
- Acts as a resource and guide for nursing staff, ensuring effective patient care delivery and workflow management.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
- Valid RN license in the relevant state with multistate licensure if applicable
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and PALS for pediatric care, depending on unit
