About the Role

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical care as needed based on census demands. Acts as a resource for staff guidance, communicates patient care updates, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high standards of nursing care.

• Supports staff by providing guidance and assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state or multistate licensure.
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and relevant pediatric certifications if applicable.

Skills

• Strong clinical expertise.

• Familiarity with specialty certifications.
• Emergency and pediatric care certifications essential for specific units.
