Charge RN - MedSurg/Oncology, Days

About the role

A Registered Nurse (RN) is sought to provide quality patient care across multiple departments, including emergency, cardiac, critical care, surgical, pediatric, and women's services. The nurse will coordinate patient care, manage operational issues during shifts, and serve as a resource and guide for staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and collect and analyze patient data
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate care delivery across the healthcare team
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Promote patient safety and positive health outcomes
• Practice ethically and foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
• Ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practices
• Manage operational issues during shifts
• Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
• Deliver safe, effective, and environmentally responsible nursing care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
• Current Georgia RN licensure
• Multistate RN licensure
• Current BCLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current PEARS certification
• Additional unit-specific certifications as required by specialty area
