The role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle and managing operational issues during shifts. Responsibilities include providing clinical care based on census demands, communicating patient and departmental concerns to leadership, and serving as a resource and guidance for staff. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state and/or multistate licensure.Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP.Additional certifications such as advanced specialty certifications and fetal monitoring are required based on unit specifics.Emergency Department experienced nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified. Skills & Key Duties Coordinate and ensure quality patient care from birth through the lifecycle.Communicate effectively with staff and leadership regarding patient and operational issues.Serve as a resource for staff guidance and support clinical decision-making.
