About the role
This role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care for patients across all age groups and managing operational issues during the shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care as needed based on census demands
- Communicate patient status, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership
- Serve as a resource and guide for nursing staff
Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Work Experience
- At least 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience required
- 2 or more years preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid RN license
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
- NRP
- Additional specialty certifications as applicable
- Certifications must be maintained and obtained as specified, including advanced fetal monitoring within 12 months and PEARS certification
