About the Role

A Charge RN for a Stepdown unit, responsible for coordinating patient care, mentoring staff, and ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and assign staff members effectively
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor bedside nurses
• Oversee complex stepdown patients, monitor condition changes, and support evidence-based practices
• Ensure safe staffing levels and efficient patient throughput
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of quality and patient satisfaction
