Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Unit Information

4A Cardiac Unit focuses on CHF, chest pain, drug load, pre-CABG, pre-TAVR, angio with stents, BKS, AKA, and med/surg overflow patients.

• STEMI certified
• All nurses are ACLS certified
• Clinical Skills Include:
  • Telemetry Monitoring
  • Pacemaker/ICA Care
  • Post Angio Care
  • TR Band
  • 5 Main Medication Drips
