About the Role
The Charge Registered Nurse will utilize theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
Unit Information
4A Cardiac Unit
- STEMI certified.
- Takes Cardiac Drug Loading patients.
- All nurses are ACLS certified.
- Focuses on CHF, Chest pain, drug load, pre CABG, pre TAVR, Angio with stents, BKS, AKA, and med/surg overflow patients.
Clinical Skills Include:
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Pacemaker/ICA Care
- Post Angio Care
- TR Band
- 5 Main Medication Drips
