About the Role

Onsite Charge Nurse in the Surgery department, responsible for delivering direct patient care in a high-acuity acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide top-tier patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Prioritize patient wellness
• Model proficiency through precepting
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care
• Manage moderate to high-acuity patients on Med-Surg units
• Adhere to evidence-based care models

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required within three years of assuming the role)
• Valid RN licensure
• At least one year of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
