Charge Nurse - Surgery - Evening

Role: Charge Registered Nurse - Surgery/OR Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care, assess patient conditions, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a team to achieve unit goals. Qualifications & Skills: Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, associate degree in nursing (BSN required within 5 years), ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire. Preferred candidates have a bachelor’s degree, OR/surgery experience, and charge experience. Key Duties: Render quality patient care using critical thinking, assess and respond to patient needs, and work effectively within a healthcare team. Maintain certifications and adhere to hospital standards.
