Job Summary
Full Time, Nights
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Mentoring and training of new staff
- Monitoring medical charts and administering compassionate care
- Liaising with doctors and administrators
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Providing high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care
- Assuming responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care
- Administering medications safely and in a timely manner
- Performing and fulfilling HICS responsibilities during emergencies
- Knowing and adhering to hospital emergency codes
Qualifications
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing
- Required: 1 year of RN experience
- Required: Current license, certification, or registration to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP
