Job Summary

Full Time, Nights
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Mentoring and training of new staff
  • Monitoring medical charts and administering compassionate care
  • Liaising with doctors and administrators
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Providing high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care
  • Assuming responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care
  • Administering medications safely and in a timely manner
  • Performing and fulfilling HICS responsibilities during emergencies
  • Knowing and adhering to hospital emergency codes

Qualifications

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing
  • Required: 1 year of RN experience
  • Required: Current license, certification, or registration to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP
