The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills, acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team, is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information, and performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Facility: BayCare Health System, Medical Surgical - BRMC. Location: Bartow. Status: Full Time, Non‑Exempt.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• Responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of RN acute care experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• ICU experience preferred
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred
