About the role

This role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, managing operational issues during shifts, and providing clinical support as needed based on patient census.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient care, departmental concerns, and staff needs to leadership
• Serve as a resource and guide for healthcare staff
• Collect and analyze patient data
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Promote safety and practice ethically
• Collaborate with stakeholders
• Comply with ongoing certification requirements within specified timeframes, including specialty certifications, to ensure evidence-based, safe, and effective nursing practices

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred)
• At least one year of hospital nursing experience (two+ preferred)
• Valid Georgia RN licensure

Required certifications

• BCLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Chemotherapy/biotherapy
• NRP
• Unit-specific certifications including PEARS, ENPC, and specialty-specific advanced certifications
