Charge Nurse - Neuro ICU

About the role

This role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care across patient lifecycles and managing operational issues during shifts. You will provide clinical support as needed, communicate effectively with staff and leadership, and serve as a resource for guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Promote safety and practice ethically

• Maintain current certifications within specified timeframes

Requirements

• Recognized nursing degree (preferred bachelor’s degree)
• At least one year of hospital nursing experience
• RN licensure in Georgia or multistate licensure
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, PEARS, and others depending on specialty
• Specialized certifications based on area of practice (e.g., Emergency Department, Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Surgical Services, Women's Services)
