Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Ortho, Days

About the Role

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care across all patient age groups, managing operational issues during their shift, and providing clinical care as needed based on patient census. Acts as a resource for staff guidance and communicates patient care, departmental concerns, and staff issues to leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of hospital-based nursing experience; two or more years preferred.
• Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate license.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree and advanced specialty certification preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
