Charge Nurse- MedSurg, Nights -Midtown

Role Overview

Captures the coordination of quality nursing care throughout the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and offers clinical support as needed based on census demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures high-quality patient care and addresses departmental and staff concerns.
• Serves as a resource and guide for nursing staff.
• Communicates effectively with leadership regarding patient care and operational issues.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state and/or multistate licensure.
• Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS.
• Additional specialty certifications as applicable.
• Experience in emergency, labor/delivery, or pediatric care is advantageous.

Additional Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical guidance, communicate effectively, and maintain necessary certifications for specialized care roles.
