Charge Nurse - Medical Progressive Care

Role Summary: This position provides direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU environment, utilizing advanced nursing practices and evidence-based models such as the AACN's Synergy Model. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes patient wellness, and supports ongoing education and competency validation through clinical mentorship. Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care in a complex clinical setting.Support safety, quality, and patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.Precept and mentor new healthcare team members.Participate in specialty education and competency validation. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with state RN licensure.Minimum 6 months ICU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.Current BLS and ACLS certification, valid through sixty days of hire.Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth.
