About the Role
Coordinates delivery of high-quality nursing care across all patient life stages, manages operational issues during shifts, provides clinical care as needed, and acts as a resource for staff guidance and support.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care.
- Communicating patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership.
- Leading care coordination and promoting a safe, ethical, and inclusive environment.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and contributing to quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Valid RN license and multistate licensure (e.g., NLC/eNCL).
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and specialized certifications based on unit (e.g., PEARS, ENPC, TNCC).
- Additional certifications within specified timeframes for specialty areas such as Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Emergency, Pediatrics, Surgical Services, and Women's Services.
