About the role
Onsite Nurse Leader in the ICU, responsible for shift supervision and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Determine staffing levels
- Provide direct patient care
- Evaluate care effectiveness
- Address patient care issues
- Perform admissions and discharges
- Ensure availability of equipment and supplies
- Assist staff and take patient assignments as needed
- Provide leadership and ensure quality patient care
- Coordinate unit activities
- Respond to clinical needs
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within three years of hire
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience
