The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a clinical environment supported by evidence-based practices and shared governance. Key Responsibilities Include Managing staff assignments, patient flow, and resource allocation to maintain optimal care delivery.Leading interdisciplinary team collaboration, physician rounds, and ensuring effective communication.Monitoring patient care quality through bedside rounds and overseeing the nursing process, emphasizing safety and individualized care.Participating in staffing planning, protocol development, and performance improvement initiatives.Supporting professional development by mentoring staff, fostering a respectful environment, and promoting evidence-based practice and research.Ensuring compliance with nursing standards, policies, and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional nursing bodies.Serving as a resource for operational and clinical issues, contributing to survey readiness and unit efficiency.
